***PLEASE NOTE*** DO NOT try to print with your cartridge completely out of ink, you could damage the printhead. Inkjet printers work by heating a resistor inside the printhead which then heats up the ink before it is sprayed onto the paper. If there is no ink to keep these working,it is possible to fry them.
Always refill before you are run completely out of ink.
| Instructions: Important: Wear old clothes and work over newspapers or paper towels. For the Black BC-20 or BC-23 Cartridge, locate the round circle on top of the cartridge. There is a small hole off-center inside this round circle. Use the small hookl provided enlarge this small hole on top of the cartridge. Drill completely through the plastic into the sponge. Take out the plug The Cartridge will take approximately 30-35 mls of ink Insert the needle all the way into the cartridge deep into the hard sponge. Inject Slowly to fill the entire cartridge withdrawing the needle slightly as you go in order to distribute the ink to different parts of the cartridge. Replace the plug Replace the cartridge and run 1 - 3 cleaning cycles as per printer instructions. If necessary leave cartridge in printer for up to 24 hours. (Allows ink to flow to the print head).
