***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Do not try printing with your cartridge completely out of ink, you could damage the printhead. Inkjet printers work by heating up a resistor inside the printhead, which heats up the ink before it is sprayed onto the paper. If there is no ink to keep these cool, it is possible to fry them.

Always refill before you are completely run out of ink.

Instructions:

Important: Wear old clothes and work over newspapers or paper towels.
1.There are 3 holes at the top which are the breather holes and 3holes in the centre which is where you refill the cartridge. Pierce the holes with a needle one colour at a time make sure you pierce the top and the centre hole.
2. Screw a needle on to the syringe and draw up 5ml of ink.
3. Insert the needle into the fill hole (through the label). Slowly inject the ink into the sponge. It is a good idea to withdraw the needle a little at a time while filling, in order to get the whole sponge filled with ink. apply some tape over the holes and repeat the process untill you have filled all 3 chambers
4. Seal the filling holes with a piece of tape to keep the cartridge from leaking.

From left to right, the ink wells are 1 to 5:
1. Regular cyan (blue)
2. Photo cyan (light blue)
3. Regular magenta (red)
4. Photo magenta (light red)
5. Regular yellow

Replace the cartridge and run 1 - 3 cleaning cycles as per printer instructions.

If necessary leave cartridge in printer for up to 24 hours.
